Zo International Childcare provides professional childcare for children aged between 0 and 4 years at Hallekensstraat 28A in Wassenaar.
Nearby there is a separate After School Club at the Schoolstraat 76 for children in the age of 4 up to 12 years old.

Each day, our passionate teachers will help the children to reach their full potential. Our educational programme uses structured themes and is thus comparable to the international primary school curriculum. Staff speaks English and development materials are in English too. Each child has a personal mentor and receives proper guidance and attention.

Big Ben Kids is an international baby center, daycare, preschool and after school facility in the Zoutmanstraat in The Hague. At the moment we take care of over more than 80 children every day. Big Ben Kids is included in the international business unit of Zo Kinderopvang. With over 40 locations Zo Kinderopvang is a professional and leading organization in childcare in The Hague area and the southern part of the Netherlands.

The programme of Big Ben is a educational programme, with English as first language. Our staff are qualified nurses and teachers, and Big Ben has offered her services for over 10 years to internationals from all over the world. Our groups are organized in a linear- horizontal system. This means that children are educated and cared for with peers in small established groups. The day care facility and the afterschool club are under the same roof. As General Manager you are responsible for both.

What would you be doing?

As pedagogical coach you support our Dutch locations but also our international locations: Zo International in Wassenaar and Big Ben Kids in The Hague. You, two other coaches and our Head of Pedagogics are the pedagogical staff of Zo Kinderopvang. Substantively, the accent in this function is the coaching of the educational staff members, contributing to the pedagogical policy and the developing of and giving of trainings to our employees. Apart from that, you will fulfill tasks as coordinator of care.

Who are you?

  • You at least have a relevant HBO education and sufficient practical knowledge / experience in childcare
  • Knowledge of the stages of development and areas of development of young children
  • Knowledge of and insight into the pedagogical policy; knowledge of the international pedagogical and educative curriculum is a pro
  • You are capable of supporting employees in their own strengths and learning process
  • Knowledge of (intervention) methods, principles and instruments of coaching
  • You have a VIB certificate or are prepared to do the course for Video Interactie Begeleider
  • You like contributing to the development of policy in the organisation in an innovative manner
  • You are enterprising, curious, involved and constantly developing
  • Your oral and writing skills are excellent in Dutch as well as in English
  • You can properly communicate the pedagogical policy, information and advices
