Daycare at Zo aan de Sijzenlaan

Welcome to Zo aan de Sijzenlaan, located in the Vogelwijk. We offer childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our groups are organised by age. We have a baby group (0 to 1.5 years), a toddler group (1.5 to 2.5 years), and a pre-school group (2.5 to 4 years). The warm, cosy, and homely groups provide plenty of opportunities for each child to develop at their own pace. Our Early Years Practitioners know all the children well, which gives a sense of security even when staff arrangements change. We play outside together every day, and between the baby and toddler groups there is a glass door that allows the children to see each other; this door is often opened so they can have a little peek at their neighbours.

Our Team

Our team consists of long-standing staff members as well as trainees. Every day we learn from each other and continue to develop ourselves and our childcare services. Our close-knit and committed team ensures that the children feel at home in our setting. We provide a space where children can grow and learn in a safe and stimulating environment.

Activities and Development

We read to the children every day and offer a variety of stimulating activities. These can range from sensory play and physical learning to activities that encourage cognitive development. During activities and daily routines, our Early Years Practitioners observe the children’s development and adapt to each child’s individual needs.

Outdoor Play and Excursions

We take the children outside every day to get some fresh air and learn about the natural world. This happens in our own garden or in the local area. Using our GoCap cargo bike, prams, or on foot, we explore a variety of places, including the forest, the beach, the children’s farm, or the playground.
