Lots of outdoor play
In lovely Bezuidenhout, we offer adventurous after school care for children aged 4 to 12. The children play outside in the natural environment of the city farm as much as possible.
We’re open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00pm to 6:30pm. During the school holidays we merge with our Zo aan de Van der Wyckstraat location. The children receive a healthy hot meal during the holidays.
Nature-based activities
Zo Outdoor is all about having adventures and taking on challenges in nature. We do lots of nature-based activities like treasure hunts, building huts, chopping wood, building fires, baking bread, searching for animal tracks, flying kites, GPS journeys, learning plant names and much more. We take on challenges in a playful manner and together we learn from, and in, nature.
Zo Outdoor bij Haagse Hout is located in the heart of Bezuidenhout, close to Laan van NOI train station, bus and tram stops and various through and exit roads (Laan van NOI, Schenkviaduct, Bezuidenhoutseweg, the A12, A13 and A4). The location is convenient if you have to go straight to work after dropping your child off.

Rates 2025:
Hourly rate for After School Care (52 weeks): €11.70
Hourly rate for After School Care (40 weeks): €13.46
We pick children up from the following schools:
- Basisschool De Lusthof in Voorburg
- Van Heutszstraat location of the Haagsche Schoolvereeniging (HSV)
- Three Little Ships International Preschool
- Lighthouse Special Education
- Liduina basisschool
Children attending the Nutsschool Bezuidenhout can also join us for before school care. Children from other schools are welcome; we will work together to find a logistical solution for picking them up from school.
