Developing talents
Here at Zo op het Groene Hart, we offer before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 from various schools. We operate from two locations: De Biezenhof primary school and the after school care location, Zo bij de Jeanne d’Arc. At De Biezenhof, we also provide school lunches.
For the younger children, we have created a cozy space centrally within the school. Here, every child can fully develop their talents. Children aged 7 and above go to Zo bij de Jeanne d’Arc, accompanied by childcare practitioners. They can make full use of the various sports and play facilities, take a break in the indoor space, engage in creative activities, or enjoy cooking.
An array of activities
Additionally, we organize a variety of activities, including fun workshops in sports, music, dance, creativity, nature, cooking, and technology. Both locations have access to a large outdoor area where children can play football, ride bikes, scooters, go-karting, play in the playground, and have fun according to their preferences.
On Wednesdays and Fridays, all after school care groups come together at our De Biezenhof location. During school holidays, we provide care at our Zo op de Schans facility. Each school vacation has an exciting theme with an activity program for all age groups. Children regularly go on trips with childcare professionals, such as visits to the playground or forest for a scavenger hunt. Vacation with us is truly a holiday experience.

Rates 2025:
Hourly rate for After School Care (52 weeks): €10.79
Hourly rate for After School Care (40 weeks): €12.41
Your child can attend our before school care from 7:00am. After school care is offered until 6:00pm.
We pick up children from the following schools:
School lunches
We provide the school lunch at De Biezenhof primary school. Supervised by volunteers who are led by a coordinator, the children get a complete and nutritional lunch eaten at laid tables. Afterwards they can play outside or if the weather isn’t good they can take part in fun indoor activities. At 12:50pm we take the children back to class and the school takes over their care. Naturally we communicate any important details to the teachers.
