Zo aan de Strijplaan

At our new location Zo aan de Strijplaan, we offer after school care for children aged 4 to 12 years old. The facility consists of two buildings. In one building we care for the younger children (4-6 years) and in the other we care for the older children (6-12 years). We engage in various development-oriented activities with the children, while also providing them a space to relax and unwind after school.

Activity-based spaces

At Zo aan de Strijplaan, we emphasize activities and development. Our spaces are specifically designed for different activities. We have a stage where children can develop their expressive skills, a painting studio for artistic exploration, and a building workshop where children can engage with craftmanship.

Additionally, there is a green laboratory where children can learn all about nature, a multimedia room where they can learn to navigate the various forms of media they grow up with, and an exciting cooking workshop where they can prepare delicious meals.

Lastly, children can work on their school assignments in the dedicated homework room.

Freedom of choice

We believe in stimulating children to be independent. Therefore, we allow them to choose which activity they want to take part in. After a collective start, children sign themselves up for one of the activities in our different spaces.

Outdoor play

Getting some fresh air in nature is an essential part of our program. Apart from indoor activities, we also regularly play outside in the surrounding area. We often visit the “Piratenspeeltuin” and explore other fun excursions nearby.
