Lots of outdoor time

At Zo op de Groen van Prinsterer we love nature. We spend lots of time outdoors with the children and give them the opportunity to discover their green surroundings with nature-based activities. We play hide and seek with the older children in the park, have picnics with everyone and go adventuring together. And when it rains? We still do our best to go out and about. This teaches children that you don’t need to let a bit of rain stop you. We also don’t mind getting dirty, so old clothes and rain boots are a must here!

What you do is your choice

We’re always in search of adventure and when we’re not outdoors we play challenging games and do fun dances indoors and in the school gym. Whenever possible, we allow the children to choose the activities. Crafting, doing homework, using the computer, playing table tennis or board games, listening to music: these are all options at our after school care. And because many of the children attend the Groen van Prinsterer primary school, our programme is aligned with the themes they’re working on at school.

Sociable village life

Dinteloord is a vibrant community and our after school care joins in with the village activities and/or helps to organise them. We never miss the Roparun, for example! In the village you don’t just look out for yourself; you care for others too. This is something we model to the children in our care.

Practical information

During school holidays and on Wednesdays and Fridays the children go to Zo in de Boomhut at the Petrus en Paulus primary school.

We offer before school care on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00am to 8:45am.
