Zo op ‘t Stavertje offers pre-school care. Children attend on set days and have fun together in a cosy, carefully-designed space. Learning through play means that they quickly broaden their horizons.

We go outside a lot, sing songs together and play games. We also focus on stimulating language development, for example by reading together. Pre-schoolers learn something new every day, both with and from each other.

Each group consists of a maximum of sixteen children with two permanent childcare practitioners. We ensure that the groups have the same composition every week, so your child always sees familiar faces and quickly feels secure and happy in the group.

Hourly rate daycare 52 weeks: €12.37

Hourly rate daycare 40 weeks: €14.23

Hourly rate pre-school care: €11.23

Practical Information

Zo op ‘t Stavertje is open during all 40 school weeks and 6 vacation weeks.

During the remaining weeks, childcare is available at Zo op Brede School Tholen. Of course, it is also possible to only take childcare during the 40 school weeks.

Praktische informatie peuteropvang Tholen

The after school care (BSO) is part of the combined age group for children aged 2 to 12. It is a warm, home-like environment where children can relax after a day at school. The BSO is located in a green area with a large playground right outside.

Every day, a variety of activities are offered for the children to join, both indoors and outdoors.

Once the children finish school, we start with a snack and a drink while talking about their day. Then we go over the day’s program. After eating, we head outside—whether that’s the playground, the nearby park, or a walk through the village.

After some active playtime, we go back inside for a group activity, which could be cooking, crafting, or playing games.

At the end of the afternoon, there’s always some fresh vegetables for the children to snack on, after which they can continue playing until they are picked up.

Hourly rate after-school care 46 weeks: €11.31

Hourly rate after-school care 40 weeks: €13.01

We pick up children from Rehobothschool and De Schalm

Zo op ‘t Stavertje is open during all 40 school weeks. We are also open during 6 holiday weeks.

During the other holiday weeks, childcare is available at Zo at Brede School Tholen. Of course, it is also possible to use childcare only during the 40 school weeks.
