Activities and Development

In our baby group, we create a calm and safe environment with a homely atmosphere. Through play, we introduce the children to a variety of development-focused activities. Together with the parents, we determine what is best for their child.

For toddlers and preschoolers, we offer the Uk & Puk program. Every six weeks, we start a new theme that covers all areas of development. This way, we provide a varied play and learning program for the children and expand and enrich the regular activities in our groups.

Outdoor Play and Outings

Going outside is an important part of the day for us. We regularly go on outdoor trips, such as walks in the park, running errands, visiting the animals at the petting zoo, or heading out with the wagon or electric cargo bike.

In addition, we have an exciting outdoor play area where the children can enjoy playing outside. This area includes a hill with a climbing structure, a sandbox with an outdoor kitchen, a barefoot path, and various play materials such as (balance) bikes, toy cars, balls, and a water table. This environment offers fun and challenges for every child, regardless of age—truly the perfect place for playful discovery and development!

Outdoor Naps

Did you know that children sleep longer and better outside? That’s why we have two outdoor cribs in the garden. Children wake up feeling completely refreshed. The fresh air also helps boost their immune system by increasing vitamin D absorption. For children who are often colds or suffer from respiratory infections or allergies, sleeping outside can be especially beneficial. Of course, as a parent, you always decide whether your child sleeps outdoors or not.

Early Childhood Education (ECE)

In our preschool group, we also offer Early Childhood Education (ECE): a special activity program designed to further stimulate the development of children aged 2.5 to 4 years. The pedagogical professionals who lead this program have received specialized training. They observe what the children are doing and what interests them in order to stay connected to their world of experience. The activities are offered in a development-focused way.

Nijntje Movement Diploma

We offer the Nijntje Movement Diploma to children in the preschool group. This is a series of movement classes where your child has fun while learning all the essential basic forms of movement. At our center, children aged 2.5 to 4 can earn the diploma. Children who enroll receive a weekly movement lesson for twenty weeks. At the end of the 20 lessons, they are awarded a diploma.
