At our Hallekensstraat location in Wassenaar we offer daycare for children at the age of 0 – 4 years old. This location has four light classrooms all connected to the garden and an art/music room which gives the children enough space to play, learn and have fun. Besides, there is a spacious garden with a green and inviting feel for children to enjoy our outdoor activities.
Our daycare groups:

- Toddlers: 12 to 36 months
- Juniors: 24 to 48 months
- Pre-schoolers: 30 to 48 months

Big Ben Kids at Schoolstraat
If you can dream it, you can do it.
At our Schoolstraat location in Wassenaar we offer after school care for children from 4-12 years. Our approach is to provide a homely feel so your child feels right at home. We give them space to relax or run around in our fully equipped gymnasium and offer a wide range of activities to keep them happy and stimulated.
We have many additional activities, both physical, musical, general interest and creative, to build young minds and bodies. Music lessons or art workshops help children to release their energy in a fun and positive way, while various fun outdoor activities in Wassenaar and surroundings allow them to enjoy nature. The music-based activities we offer such as violin, piano or guitar lessons stimulate brain function and can increase IQ.
To stimulate creativity, we offer ‘fun with food’ and ‘arts and crafts’. Children of all ages can bake, cook, learn about healthy eating and create art while experiencing different materials and techniques.

Hourly rate for after-school care (52 weeks): €11.97
Hourly rate for after-school care (40 weeks): €13.77
The childcare centre is open 52 weeks per year on Monday to Friday. Big Ben Kids Wassenaar only closes during Dutch bank holidays.
After school care opening hours are from 15:00 to 18:30 on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri and from 11:45 to 18:30 on Wed. During school holiday weeks the opening ours are from 7:30 to 18:30 (11 hours) daily.
During the holidays we are open from 7:30am to 6:30pm. We also offer incidental childcare by arrangement with the primary schools, so we can care for your children if the schools close earlier or when children have a free day, for example on inset days.
